Skunk Control have created a bespoke limited edition Flutter Butterfly Wand to celebrate Flutter at Gateway this Vivid Festival.
These bespoke Flutter Butterfly Wands are each individually hand made by the Skunk Control artists, using the same special-coloured filters creating light and colour, as the butterflies on display.
The Flutter Butterfly Wands have been constructed using recycled and repurposed materials. The wands are made from discontinued plastic straws, sourced from local cafes and bamboo skewers, acrylic offcuts, and recycled PET film. The optical filters used in this Butterfly Wand are the same filters used in the butterflies on display and mimic the structure of real butterfly wings. The artists were very considerate of the environment and reusing and repurposing materials when creating the Flutter Butterfly Wands, they are intended as a piece of art and hope Vivid Festival-goers do enjoy taking home a little piece of Flutter as part of their experience.
HOW TO CLAIM YOUR FLUTTER BUTTERFLY WAND
To claim a wand, just spend $30 or more at any Gateway restaurant or retailer.
Take your receipt to the Butterfly Hut, located on the Ground Floor next to the Jessie Street Gardens entry and Roll’d.
Present your receipt to our lovely promotional staff.
You will be required to sign up to the database to claim your free Flutter Butterfly Wand.

Flutter Butterfly Wands can be claimed at the following days and times.
Promotional period: Wednesdays from 5pm – 8pm and Thursday, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 5pm – 9pm.
Mondays and Tuesdays excluded from promotional period.
There are a limited amount of Flutter Butterfly Wands each day, only available while stocks last.
Please note there are limits on how many wands can be claimed per person per transaction.
Up to four Flutter Butterfly Wands can be claimed per transaction to the value of $120.00 or more.
No more than four Flutter Butterfly Wands can be claimed per transaction.
No more than four Flutter Butterfly wands can be claimed per person during the promotional period.
Up to two receipts can be combined to equal required spend. No more than two permitted.
